What a referral is worth
50% of the subscription, paid to you each month for the first 2 monthly payments — one full month of recurring revenue per signup. These figures are read live from the commission rules your dashboard is paid from, so they are never out of date.

The commission is a one-time split over 2 months, not an ongoing residual. If a customer cancels before a commission has been paid out, that unpaid piece is cancelled with it — nothing already paid to you is taken back.
The annual bonus ladder
Paid on top of every commission you already earned that year. You are paid the highest tier you reach — the tiers do not add together — and the count is based on the customers you brought in who are still active subscribers that year.
How credit actually works
Claim the businesses first
Register them in your dashboard before they subscribe — one at a time, or a whole list at once by CSV. Credit comes from the claim, not from a tracking link, so claim first and then send the demo link.

We check automatically that the business is not already a CactusComply customer and not already claimed by another partner, and tell you immediately if it is.
You get paid
Commissions appear in your dashboard as soon as their payment lands, then get approved and released in a payout batch. No minimum balance to clear first.
Claim a whole list at once, not one email at a time
Walked a trade-show floor? Upload whatever you actually collected. We match on business name, email and phone — any one of them is enough, so a list of just email addresses works.
Bulk uploads hang off an event, so register the event you collected the list at first. Claiming a single business needs no event.
Running an event? Register it and upload your leads
If you speak at or host chambers, trade associations, franchise conferences, grocery or restaurant groups, POS user meetings or webinars, the portal has a workflow built for exactly that.
- Register the event up front — name, host organization, date, venue and expected attendance.
- After it runs, record how many small-business attendees actually showed up.
- Upload your lead list as a CSV. Each row is claimed for you automatically, and anything already claimed or already a customer is flagged with the reason.
- The event page then reconciles it: leads uploaded, leads claimed, signups, and commission earned — all in one place.

You do not have to run the session yourself.
